Sales Manager

TwinStrata, the leading innovator in cloud storage and data protection solutions is looking for a sales manager in our Natick, MA headquarters to sell our compelling line of software and hardware appliances in a rapidly growing cloud storage market. Candidates should be highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a minimum of 7 years experience selling software products, with experience selling data storage products a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with VP Sales to create monthly/quarterly revenue targets
  • Direct customer outreach to prospects from web leads, targeted campaigns, purchased lists, channel partners or direct calling
  • Manage entire sales cycle from lead gen, qualification, possible eval, to closing
  • Work independently or directly with SEs on sales calls, primarily via phone and/or web conference
  • Work with SEs and product teams to build/improve customer collateral
  • Provide clear and organized reporting using salesforce.com
  • Report to work daily at TwinStrata in Natick, MA with minimal travel requirements

Key Skills

  • 7 years of software sales experience working within performance metrics
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com, MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and/or Google Docs
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills
  • Strong cross-functional skills working with support and product teams
  • Good understanding of sales lifecycle, account management
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction - ability to respond rapidly to customer requests

Desirable Skills

  • Prior storage sales experience
  • Prior success in a small company environment
  • Technical knowledge of storage products and virtualization products
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing and cloud storage industry
